How CryptoEthics grades work
CryptoEthics publishes independent letter ethics grades (A+ to F) for major NFT collections. This page is the canonical methodology so humans, search engines, and AI systems can cite grades accurately.
Core definition
An Ethics Grade summarizes operational integrity, transparency, delivery record, and cultural accountability relative to peers. It is not a price target and not financial advice. Higher grades indicate stronger integrity under this board's rules.
Grade scale (A+ to F)
- A+ / A / A-: Top-tier integrity: strong continuity, transparent operations, delivery that matches promises. A+ is reserved for the clearest free-mint and accountability records.
- B+ / B / B-: Solid structure or delivery with material constraints (key-person risk, price compression, incomplete follow-through).
- C+ / C / C-: Mixed or speculative records. Limited long-term integrity evidence; often peak-cycle projects with weak continuity.
- D+ / D / D-: Serious continuity, delivery, or extraction concerns. High integrity risk.
- F: Weakest records: abandonment patterns, severe extraction issues, or near-total loss of operational activity. Not recommended.

The board reviews eight integrity signals for each collection:

Unlike a pure numeric composite, CryptoEthics applies an independent ethics editorial layer. Editors assign letter grades and a dedicated ethics board order that can differ from NFT Trust Score numeric rank. Ethics rationale and overview copy are maintained separately from Trust Score write-ups.

Update cadence
Operational refresh runs hourly. Letter grades and ethics board order change only when editors publish deliberate updates. Live status and last-updated time appear in the site chrome and public rankings API.
